Got a pizza menu through the door for a place that only does square pizza, menu claims this means 27% more pizza per box.

Having never seen Titanic before in my life I went to see it today (It was also the first film I’d ever seen in 3d (Excluding the Science Museum’s space one) or IMAX) Overall it exceeded my expectations and was a great film. I have however already thought up my own ending that would be far superior to Cameron’s one but his was still decent enough.

Prior to this my girlfriend and I went to the Chinese buffet by the cinema, I went in saying I want to eat so much I hate myself at the end and I succeeded. 

Tomorrow we return to Brighton to live out of a hotel for the first part of this week while the bed bug problem in our flat is dealt with by the landlord.

After the easter holidays had finished I was quite looking forward to a few days of relaxation in Brighton before I having to start lessons of my third and final term at BIMM on Monday. Just a few days to watch TV and play Mario Party 9 (Which is really good) and Kirby’s Adventure (Which I didn’t get a chance to try yet) on the Wii with the girlfriend. Half a week of relaxation before going back to lessons, that was all I wanted.

But then these bastards decided that wasn’t allowed.

After a night in our bed we discovered (through itchy bites and other indicators) that the room has now got a little bed bug infestation, I’m back in London staying in my old room at my parents house. I return to Brighton on Sunday where I’ll be living in a Travelodge until the landlords replace the bed and mattress and got rid of all the bugs.

Tomorrow I’m most likely seeing Titanic for the first time in my life having apparently lived a sheltered life so far and never watched it. Until then my plan consists of listening to Radlands by Mystery Jets on loop (I’ve preordered the album on vinyl so I don’t feel too guilty for listening to the leak); my opinion of it so far…

Having heard them play the album through start to finish at the launch party they threw a couple of weeks ago the album’s a really nice refresher of the live experience. Even on the first listen I could remember what lyrics were coming up just from hearing them once live which shows how well written the album is if you ask me.
